Bottled Faery Wings

Description

Naturally shed faery wings in assorted colours.

These delicate specimens are found in the tranquil forest of the Dandenong Ranges and carefully contained in a glass test tube.
Each glass tube contains one set of faery wings with preserved moss.

My research into these fascinating beings tells me they occasionally shed their wings when they are damaged, tattered or too small. Often during the Winter months, some faery species create themselves a spiral shaped chrysalis where they drop their wings and hibernate inside for several weeks as they grow a brand new pair.
